Two in a row for the Browns? If the Browns are going to win two games in a row for the first time since 2003 they are going to have to knock off the best team in the NFL. The Patriots have been absolutely steamrolling their opponents thus far. So, how can the Browns possibly knock off the Patriots this Sunday? There is a lot the Browns can take from their solid victory over the Ravens last week. They stuck with the running game throughout the entire game which in turn ate up clock, wore down the defense, and set up play action (as was evident on the long TD pass to Braylon Edwards). With the combination of Lewis running the ball, Winslow catching anything thrown his way, and Edwards as a deep threat defenses are going to have to respect all aspects of the Browns offense. This will open up the field to a versatile offensive attack. The defense played a solid "bend but don't break" game against the Ravens. This is, as was evident in the game, all this young defense really need to do for the time being. All factors leading to last weeks win are crucial in having a shot at knocking off the Patriots. It seems as though the Browns are going to have to match whatever the Patriots do on offense which is, of course, easier said than done. Hopefully Romeo and Willie Mcginest can provide some inside information on how to exploit the Patriots defense. One thing is for sure, the Browns are going to have to bring forth a substantially solid effort along with an even more solid performance to have a chance at knocking off the Patriots. A couple of things are for sure: ANYTHING is possible in the NFL, and no matter what the the outcome of the game this week may be the Browns are still 2-1 in the division, having knocked off the Bengals and the Ravens, and there is absolutely nothing that can happen this weekend to change that.

Steve, your insights into the Browns continue to amaze me. I hope that they follow your advice and can pull it off this weekend against the Patriots. Keep on writing.
Good perspective on the place the Browns maintain in the division. And hey, we played bettter vs. New England than the Bengals did... for what that's worth!
Watch out Dolphins!
Given that they were playing arguably the best team in football, I thought the Browns did OK. A few serious mistakes but that had a lot to do with the Patriots.
