another week, another thrilling Browns game
The AFC wildcard race is in full swing, and the Browns have the favorable schedule needed to seize a spot in the playoffs. I am over the fact that they have already exceeded all expectations, and I now believe they should make the playoffs. However, it became more apparent than before the manner by which they will make their playoff push after enduring Sundays win in Baltimore.
In even more heart stopping fashion than normal, which I did not think was possible, the Browns managed to beat Baltimore in a fashion that would normally have them on the side of heartbreak and disbelief rather than jubilance (and disbelief). My heart still has not regained the regularity with which it once beat. This is the sort feeling that every Browns fan has become accustomed to. Yet, even being on the winning side of such games seems to be too much to handle.
Of course, I will endure the emotions involved in being a Browns fan. And I feel nothing but the utmost reward and thanks for being on the other end of these thrilling games more times than not. Hopefully the Browns will take care of the Houston Texans – who are healthy and right in the thick of the wildcard race with the Browns - this week in a little more convincing fashion.
It is a good sign that the ball has literally bounced back in the Browns favor. It is also quite nice to have Time Magazine’s next Man of the Year, this year’s Heisman front-runner, Grammy Award winning artist, Oscar nominee, etc., Josh Cribbs, on our side. Seriously, I can say with the utmost comfidence that Josh Cribbs is the biggest difference maker and hardest working player in the NFL.
