Cherie Lampley is a native of Hamilton, Ohio who moved to Columbus in 1998 to attend The Ohio State University. While here in Columbus her passion for sports grew immensely. Since some of her female friends were getting tired of her bringing up how many yards a certain running back had during a Sunday game while they were supposed to be discussing The Hills, she decided to take it to the Web. In 2007 The Sports Diva Magazine (TSD Mag for short) was born.

While working on The Sports Diva Magazine, she became a weekly contributor to Epic Carnival and a co-blogger for b5media's Dejuiced! Sports Blog. In the fall of 2008, she took a small break from sports blogging. Now that break is over.

Cherie will be bringing a female's point of view to the game. Her favorite teams are THE Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. She roots for the Cavs and thinks she may shed a tear if LeBron leaves Cleveland. She can find a way to root for the Cleveland Indians if they make the playoffs and as long as they don't face her Reds. She has tried to root for the Cleveland Browns but it just doesn't work. She does promise to put her hate for them aside for the sake of Ohio sports.
