It's Brady time

Romeo Crennel made another wrong decision in not naming Brady Quinn the starter over Derek Anderson for the Bengals game on Sunday. Anderson has lost his confidence and more importantly, many players have questions in their own minds if he should still be the starter.

Giving D.A. the start on Sunday but saying that there'll be a quick hook is not the right way to go about this. The Browns drafted Brady Quinn to be their starting quarterback someday, and that day has arrived. The team needs a serious spark to revive it and playing Anderson for a quarter or so with the hope that he doesn't implode again before bringing in Quinn doesn't make sense.

Here's an idea for Browns owner Randy Lerner. Bring in Bill Cowher to stand on the sideline behind Romeo Crennel. If the Browns fall behind the Bengals, or Crennel makes one of his trademark head scratching decisions, make him take off the headphones and hand them over to Cowher right then and there.
