Published March 21, 2009 Cincinnati Bengals Doing Good Things?According to an article on the Cincinnati Bengals official website, Marvin Lewis came back home from the Cincinnati Bearcats Pro Day happy. Apparently he was being complimented on how well the Bengals have done in the off-season. That last sentence is not something I thought I would have ever read or typed. But maybe things are changing in Cincinnati. In the off-season the Bengals signed free agent wide receiver Laveranues Coles and re-signed Cedric Benson at running back. But he also lost wide receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh and offensive tackle Stacy Andrews in free agency. But he has no problem with his losses. In his own words, he says that he thinks they have upgraded at wide receiver and linebacker. And he's being very optimistic. His optimism could be a really good thing in Cincinnati. I can't remember the last time optimism and Cincinnati Bengals were put in the same sentence. Let's talk about this people. I'm a Cincinnati Bengals fan and I want to be optimistic about them. Not sure if I can with what they've done in the past. So help me out. Do you think the off-season moves were good? Bad? Same ol Bungals?
